Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 Tutorial Series!!!

*

This is our official announcement of our new training series that I (William) will be hosting. It will be on Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. This series is coming along very well so far, and is looking good. We have around 15 chapters with an average of 5 lessons per chapter so it will be very extensive, I may also post an outline of the chapters later. This will be the first tutorial series that we will be offering on DVD as well as streamed online. The tentative release for this series is end of August, but don't get frustrated if its a little late, imagine how we feel when its not released on time. :( Anyway I'll make sure to keep you posted on how its coming along, in the meantime take a look at the picture of our DVD insert, its just a rough draft of what it will really look like, but its not too shabby. :)

In with the new, but not out with the old!

Hey, everybody we have some new things coming out in the next couple of months which may get you excited, or not. First off, Jackson and I are creating a sequel to the fun game Sort Em’ Up. For those of you who have not played Sort Em’ Up you can download it on the games page. To check on the games progress visit the projects page, we currently do not have a date set for release but should have one in the next couple of weeks.

That’s the good news, and the better news is that we are starting to make 3 video tutorials series, that will be available for purchase from our website for DVD or download, once they are done. I will be creating the Adobe Premiere CS3 tutorial series, and will be going into detail on every aspect of the program so you can become your own expert. Jackson will be creating an HTML tutorial series and a re-creation to his ever popular MMF2 tutorials; this new set of MMF2 tutorials will be even more in depth and go over all aspects of the game creation program.

Also in other news the Grossmont Honor Band concert is in the menu creation stage and finalizing, it should be released in the coming week. For more accurate dates please visit our projects page.

Stay tuned in our site for the next few weeks, to find out more info on the tutorials and games, thanks for supporting Atomic Studios.

Slight Delays

There has been a slight delay on the production of the Hillsdale Winter Concert DVDs, as we were planning to get them finished this week. This is due to issues out of our control. The cases in which the DVDs will be packaged, are taking longer than expected to ship to us.

In other news, William has decided to change the schedule of his series entitled "FilmMaker's Tips." It will no longer be released each Wednesday, but rather whenever he has time to finish them.

Tutorials Page is now open!

Hopefully everyone had a good Christmas and now New Year's Eve is coming up tomorrow. A lot of stuff happening around the site lately take a look:

The premiere issue of the "tech tips" tutorial series entitled "Hacking Firefox" has been released today and our tutorial page is now officially open with some Multimedia Fusion 2 Tutorial series' available as well. Also today, we are proud to announce two more tutorial series'. The first is entitled "Filmmaker's Tips" and will be a weekly article where William La Plant will be going over a filmmaking tip each Wednesday to teach those budding filmmakers out there the ins and outs of filmmaking. The second new series is called "Words of the Week." In this series, William and I will define and explain two terms, one related to filmmaking and one related to technology/computers. This will also be a weekly series, released each Monday.

We are still in the editing stages of the Hillsdale concerts that we successfully filmed in the last few weeks. We are right on track to have them done around the time Hillsdale students go back to school on January 7th. Don't forget you can still order the DVDs of this concert if you haven't had a chance yet. Click here to download a printable order form that can be mailed to us or turned in by your student at school.

Tech Tips

Oh how nice...it's snowing here on the site, just in time for Christmas Eve!

Today I have posted this message to announce the beginning of our all new "Tech Tips" tutorial series. When we announced this series would be happening a while back, I said this was going to be a weekly video tutorial series, but now we have changed our minds. This will be a weekly written tutorial series! I am almost done writing the premiere issue of the series and it will be released this Sunday, December 30th (New Year's Eve Eve). Along with the premiere issue of the series we will have our tutorial page opened and hosting my past video tutorials that are currently hosted on www.clickteam.info/km.

And we begin work on the site...

Well this is the template for our new site. How do you like it? If you have any suggestions or comments on it we'd love to here from you. Email us at contact@atomicstud.com. I'm starting to slowly fill up this site with content (no more Lorem Ipsum text! lol) so that we can eliminate the old one. Once we get all the content ported over I'll start with the PHP and get that going.

Blue Ink ScreensaverIn the screensaver's department, we have our first free screensaver available, called Blue Ink, created by William and myself. There's a nice screenshot of it to the left

In the games department, we are slowly progressing on the Piece of Ketchup Game and a simple not-yet-named puzzle game. We are looking for more people to join our freeware games department and make some, fun, free games! Email us at contact@atomicstud.com if you are interested.

In the tutorials department, we are working on our new series of tutorials called "Tech Tips". Also, there is my "Introduction to Moo Series", (If you think I'm talking about cows, I'm not) which I haven't worked on in a while but hope to start again soon.
